Xantre Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 I am trying to design a wheel for a concept that I have in mind(futuristic). I can't seem to find the right tutorial to teach me how to do this again. I use to know AutoCAD like the back of my hand, but I am completely lost after 5 years of not using it. Concept: Circle within a circle(should look like a oversized performance tire for a car when done). My steps: Start the outer circle at 20 radius, 10 thickness. Second circle(inside of first circle) is 18 radius, 10 thickness. This is where I can't solidify or combine the object so that it solidifies the whole design and allows me to move forward. Help? Dadgad Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Welcome to the forum. Watch this video and it should help you a lot get back on your game, it is from the Tutorials section on this site, where there is a wealth of information in video format. Don't let the fact that it is demonstrated on 2010 throw you, these commands are available in 2007 too. http://www.cadtutor.net/tutorials/autocad/extrude-and-press-pull/ Quote
