fahim108 Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Yup! ...possible in AutoCAD2k7 (and maybe in the previous versions too ). All you need to do is to change properties of the bulb. Select it, open the Properties flag > 3D Visualization > Shadow Display - Ignore Shadows Now make a custom material based on the following settings (2k7 style): Template - Advanced Ambient - By Object Diffuse - By Object Specular - By Object Shininess - 0 Refraction index - 0 Translucency - 0 Self-Illumination - 80~90 Diffuse Map - None Opacity - 90, Map - Any black texture - Fit to Object Reflection - 0 Bump Map - None Enjoy!! Lazer Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Ill look forward to giving this a go at work on monday. Your renders have given me the autocad 3d bug again, I've spent along time away from autocad 3d after going down the road of Inventor, but now going to get back into it. GREAT WORK! Quote
fahim108 Posted August 19, 2006 Author Posted August 19, 2006 ...thanks guys, I'd love to know if you people tried it out... as StykFacE said, it's freaking sweet indeed!! See if it works on an older version of AutoCAD also. Couldn't test that out! Quote
