problem with my autocad commands

hi there,

i'm having problems with autocad commands. I'm using the version 2012 and there was no problem untill I copyed a file from my friend an started working on it. She's been having the same problem.

Now every time I want to do something I have to first select the line then coose which line, hatch, polyline I want to work on and then choose the command. It becomes problem when i want to select more than one line and instead of selecting all at once, like I was able to do before, now I have to select each line or anaything else seperately and doing it one by one.

My question is how can i return back to the previous stage, before all theese problems with the commands? I've allready tried it to resolve with profile's tab but it dooesnt work, at least not in my case...

tnx

Just to make sure we cover all the bases change the settings on the system variables PICKFIRST and PICKADD to "1". It can be done at the command line.

Type in PICKADD and set it to 1 or 2 then PICKFIRST and set it to 1. See if those fixes it.

Darn you beat me to it, shouldn't of took that drink of coffee before hitting the send button.

I'm not sure I understand, but it's not going to hurt to make sure PICKFIRST = 1 and PICKADD = 2

I think we covered that. ;)

I'm so glad I left this to other people. I started typing but I was distracted by the cricket before deciding I was unlikely to be the first to reply.
