Asterisk Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I'm new to surfacing (3Dface, region, loft) Is there a way to surface this geometry with a single surface entity? I had to use 2 lofts to "surface it" instead of region due to lines being non-coplanar with the arc (in other words top most corner is higher than the other adjacent 3 corners). Quote
Asterisk Posted June 26, 2012 Author Posted June 26, 2012 Psychological thing. Not critical at all, but I'd like to know if it's possible or not. Quote
ReMark Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Just finished this before you posted your drawing. Is this kind of what you had in mind? Quote
Asterisk Posted June 26, 2012 Author Posted June 26, 2012 Yeah, assuming some of your contour geometry isn't co-planar. What is that surface and how did you do it? Quote
ReMark Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 I first created it as a solid then used the Solid-to-Surface feature of AutoCAD. Quote
