CADLee Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I have a question about lighting when I render a scene. There are light spots in the scene and I cant really get rid of them no matter what I seem to do at this point. I was wondering if anyone knew what I am doing wrong or what I can do to get rid of them. I am going to try and attach a scene and I hope they attachYou can see the spots on the floor. Quote
Lee Roy Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Those are reflections. Adjust the reflectivity of your floor material. Quote

Lee Roy Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 What version are you using? Manage Tab > Materials > (Floor Material) > Then in the options on the right will be reflections Quote
CADLee Posted July 9, 2012 Author Posted July 9, 2012 I am using Revit Arch 2012. I will give that a shot. Will it also work with objects as well. Such as furniture and appliances? Quote
Lee Roy Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 It works on the material level. So any object the material is applied to, will present the properties you set. To change other objects, select the objet and "Edit Type". Take note of the material it's using, then edit that material. Duplicate the material if it's used for more than one type of object. FWIW - I usually set floors 0-2% reflections. Quote
