BIGAL
Windows 7 changed the explorer serach parameters by supposedly making it plain talking questions. I get the idea of System. Keywords:"sunset" basicly they removed the filter options to allow smarter ones instead. I have tried a few with limited succes I want Search a directory (on server) for lisps containing the word Setq (guarranteed a hit) tried the examples I found at Microsoft.com but could get the old fashioned find a word to work even though its their example. BIGAL
A bit more if any one is interested I am not alone with win 7 they changed entirely the way search works to a more program way of doing things I have read about 20 posts and basicly there are all sorts of keyword searches you can use but! you need to know the key, the other bug is it uses Index searches I can not Index our server locally says it will copy all files which is crazy. the only way I found to find out what files conatin a specific word is to use CMD and findstr.exe. The reason in the first place was to find a lisp example of a particular word and post here. Anyone interested search type:*.lsp = *.lsp content:aaa Name:Chcontours.lsp date: lots more go to web. Organic
I like the integrated search as part of the start button and find it one of the best Windows 7 improvements.
