offroadmaniak Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 i am new in autocad, i can do some shapes but, need help in how to draw a frame, i can do some lines and do the sweep but after that i am lost i cant doit in a diferent level like in another z level. i do work with cnc programing i use the easy cam but to draw i use the AUTOCAD 7. papagyi Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 Ok! let say 2' x 4' frame with 1.5"x1.5" thickness.First you will need to draw 2'x4' rectangle.Then draw any position with 1.5"x1.5" rectangle .Next you need to start "sweep" command and select a 1.5"x1.5" rectangle then select the 2'x4' rectangle.Now you can see! What you are asking are basic questions that looking to answer you from the tutorials of this website, you just have to go through them.
