Probably a really thing and a bit of a dumb question, but I am labelling lots of cabinets on a floorplan and obviously want them numbered differently.

Is there a quick way to just click each cabinet and but a sequential number on the cabinets rather than making a line of text and copying each line then changing the text later?

There would be if you were using full AutoCAD and a custom lisp routine.

Make a numbering block and populate with an attribute or a field.

Oh dear I have no idea what that is lol - "where's me manual??" :-)

You have never created an attributed block?

I guess it is time you learned then.

In this case your attribute would be the room number. After creating the block each time you insert it into your drawing you'll be prompted for the room number.

You could also do the same thing with a custom MULTILEADER style, 6 of one half a dozen of the other. :)
