dreid0627 Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Hi Everyone, I'm hoping to not have to call autodesk, maybe you can help me. I am running 2013LT Mac, and my pop up windows aren't showing up. EX: TEXTSTYLEEDIT pop up window appears for a half a second then disappears. Same if I try to "Edit" from the "Page Set Up Manager." Had the same issue with my trial version, a few days before it expired. Yesterday everything worked fine, no it's happening on my registered version of LT. Any ideas? Thanks, Dan Quote
Dadgad Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Welcome to the forum. I have not used cad on a Mac, but were you on a PC I would suggest that you check your FILEDIA variable and set it to 1. I hope that helps. Quote
dreid0627 Posted July 19, 2012 Author Posted July 19, 2012 Thanks for the welcome. Just tried FILEDIA set at 1 and 0 (and restart AutoCAD), and my windows still are not showing up. Quote
Dadgad Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Has your selected PROFILE from OPTIONS, or your WORKSPACE been changed from your preferred one? Do you have PROFILES in LT? I am not sure if you do or not. Have you tried going to your PROGRAMS menu, and selecting the REPAIR option? Quote
dreid0627 Posted July 19, 2012 Author Posted July 19, 2012 RESET APPLICATION OPTIONS...that did it. A ghost must of changed some random setting...I hate when they do that. The MAC interface is completely different from PC, so I'm not sure if it's an LT feature or the fact that it's a MAC, but I do not have PROFILES or a PROGRAM menu. My Options screen (Preferences on MAC) is where I found the RESET button. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Quote
Dadgad Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Glad you figured it out. I love Macs, I hope Autocad rises to the challenge to do you guys right. Quote
