B-Grif Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 recently both of my AutoCad programs will not Autosave no matter what time I select. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem my be. and what the solution is to the problem? Quote
Dadgad Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Welcome to the forum. Check your ISAVEPERCENT setting. Might it be 0? Have you checked the location to which the files are being directed? In your OPTIONS on the FILES tab? nestly posted a couple good links earlier today or last evening about AUTOSAVE, well worth reading. Here is the link to that thread ........... http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?71309-Autosave-Backup-not-working Quote
SLW210 Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 When you Qsave (Ctrl+S) it will reset the timer for the Automatic saves. When the drawing closes normally the Autosave files are deleted. Quote

My hypothesis, which I haven't tested, was that with ISAVEPERCENT set to 0, it might never go long enough between saves to trigger the Autosave time interval save. Quote
B-Grif Posted July 27, 2012 Author Posted July 27, 2012 Thanks for the information, I never realized I could have the timer set to low for it to work. Quote
