I have a problem with non editable text in this autocad file: http://ge.tt/81cpOuM/v/0

The text is in center in labels: Drain Valve, close and open.

I need this text be editable or deleting, but i dont know how.

Please help me

Thanks

It isn't true text. The words were created with lines then filled in with a hatch pattern. Deleting? Just use the Erase command. Whoever made those tags also messed up on the arcs in the double-headed arrows.

I don't know, but I think that problem is in my app. Can you delete text only in left box and upload anywhere.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum. :)

ReMark is correct, as shown in the image, there is NO text, there is something (some things actually) which look a lot like text.

Hard to believe somebody would go to all that trouble to do something which should have been so simple! :?

Your "app" is AutoCAD isn't it? You should have no problem erasing the objects.

yes, autocad 2009, бут simply can not be erased only text. when I marked text, all is marked and text and frame, and I can not delete only text, I can't explode, nothing...

6yT? What is that in reference too?

Zoom in on one letter. Now, just pick and erase the hatch. Once the hatch is erased it will be easier to edit the linework.

Was the drawing which you posted EXPLODED before it was posted, perhaps?

Judging by the OP's previous statement: "...I can't explode, nothing..."I don't think it was exploded before posting.

syllverr: Once an object has been fully exploded you're done you can't explode further. If it were a block and exploded then you would be left with lines and hatches which is exactly what is currently present in the drawing.

Could it be that your PICKFIRST variable is set to 0? That could be why you can't delete objects.

The fact that the OP expresses an inability to EXPLODE it makes me think that it ALREADY WAS exploded which is why it is as we now see it.

Sounds like the block was exploded in an attempt to get to the text?
