Hi all,

I have recently starting using dimensions lines with overwritten text to label items (as it is a quick way to label multiple identical items).

What I'd like to add is a mark (like an architectural tick/oblique) each time the dimension line intersects one of the items.

Is this possible?

Thanks

I suggest you consider using a MULTILEADER instead, there are numerous options when creating a new style,

look through them all, you'll see how useful they are, and this should be quite simple to do.

As a Dimension you will not be able to display the tick at the attachment end of the extension line. :)

I'm afraid I dont have mulitleaders available.

Not sure that would do what I want though, I'd like just one label for each run of objects, but with the oblique on each object also

You could do the same thing with a LEADER style, you must have those.

Sorry, I have never used LT.

The reason I am suggesting either Multileaders or Leaders is because then when you add the specified

icon or ARROW style to it, it will be where you want it to be, unlike with a dimension arrow or architectural tick, or whatever.

Start the LEADER command, then enter S for settings, and you can define your style there.

Did you check to see if you have a MULTILEADER toolbar available?

They are much more customizable, and I find it hard to believe that

LT wouldn't have them.
