Indy81 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Hi everyone, I'm working on creating a spreadsheet in Excel that I can control a part feature using Inventor 2011. I cannot seem to find how to do this anywhere. I have a part that will have multiple holes in it, just columns and rows, but when I resize the parts' overall size/shape I want to be able to adjust the hole count using the spreadsheet as well. So is there a way to control the amount of an extruded hole feature in columns and rows using excel? I hope that describes what I'm trying to accomplish well enough. I'd really appreciate the help. Thank you! Quote
JD Mather Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Of course you don't need to have a spreadsheet to do this, iParts or iLogic will do the same thing. But if you want to do it with a spreadsheet - attach your xls file and your ipt file here so that I can see what you have so far. Quote

I hadn't thought about using those commands. I'll try them as well, but I've attached what I have worked up so far. SQ TUBESHEET SIZES.xlsx SQ TUBESHEET.ipt Quote
