Be_cool Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 As you can see from title i dont know how to define one parameter in excel so i can use him later to define NUMBER of patterns (for one component). Every time when i link parameters to Inventor their unit is mm, but i need for one of them to be ul (utinless) so i can use him to define number of patterns and contole whole product from excel table. Thnak you in advance! Best regards, Alex Quote
JD Mather Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 3 columns in spreadsheet, 4th column can have comments. Variable_name, value, units, comments broj_vertikala 1 ul (if you leave the third column blank Inventor assumes document units, in this case mm) Quote

For example: 1) if broj_horizontala=1 then put that part in assebmly on exact place 2) if širina_proizvoda This 2nd question is maby little confusing but i hope that you will understand what i want to say... Thank you in advance! Best regards! Edited September 28, 2012 by Be_cool Quote

JD Mather Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 .... now i have 2013 but i don't know wich packet. Then you have iLogic (added in r2010 bonus pack) and now standard. Check your Manage tab. I will try to remember to post links to a couple of tutorials later (or you might search Google). Quote
