CUI close command list xref

I have edited the close command through CUI to enable the xrefs to be checked before closing a drawing

-xref;?;;\ ^C^C_close

 

Or I might need a lisp that runs when dwg is closed.

 

 

When I use the Close command via the tool bar it works but when I type into the command line or close by using X it just closes without listing xrefs. I would like to remedy this problem if anyone has a possible solution.
