SAFeSTeR Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Is this possible? It seems such a simple idea yet I've no idea if it exists. The situation is this:1. Table filled with text which is justified left centre.2. Perform quick select and change justification to middle centre.3. Need to align in centre of table 'boxes' using M2P.4. Execute move command.5. Frustrated as I'm not able to pick one of the texts centre points. Are there any solutions available to me?RegardsSafe Quote

Tiger Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 the Text-point that you can select is INSERTION POINT, I think it changes with how you have your text justified. Quote
TigerByTheTail Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 If you want to change the text justification, but leave the text in the current location, try JUSTIFYTEXT command. Quote
Dana W Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 PS why does my post show with no paragraphs? :s Because the forum software strips all the extra spaces out of the message. To paragraph, you have to hit enter and skip a line. Or, you can hit the Go Advanced button and use the indent control buttons on the formatting tool bar. Also, check the Node snap on your drafting settings. It will give you snaps to the corners of the invisible text box that frames your text, along with the justification point. Of course this will also wake up all the nodes on things you didn't know had any nodes. Quote
