cathbates Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 This is driving me mad! I need to save files as AO 1:25 pdfs to send to clients for printing. I have it all set up but as I have no plotter it wont let me save / export it! On other threads it suggested selecting plotter "none " but that is not an option given to me , it only comes up with the home printers I have used ( they only doA4) there must be a way of doing this? Please please help Quote
SLW210 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 You should select the included with AutoCAD DWGtoPDF.pc3 as your printer or your favorite 3rd party PDF plotter. Quote
cathbates Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 sorry I dont see that option anywhere? Quote
SLW210 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 How are you trying to plot? Do you have this? Quote
cathbates Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 No, should say I am on a mac if that helps? When i am in model & go to page set up . the only options on printer/ plotter are the ones I have used in the past which are A4 printers, the same thing if I am in layout ? Sorry I am new to this and not v good at finding my way around Quote
ReMark Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 On a Mac. You have our deepest sympathies. Post a screen shot of what you have. Quote

BIGAL Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Do a google/web search for pdf drivers for MAC maybe Cutepdf its free for pc's it has all general paper sizes. It only writes PDF. I would have thought the MAC came with a system PDF printer. Quote
SLW210 Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 I believe with MAC you use the PLOT to PDF or SAVE as PDF. Maybe an actual Mac user will come along for you. Quote
