Making a title block 11x8.5

Hi everyone,

 

can someone please guide me through to making a 11x8.5 title block template.

I have made a few in model and paper space but when i insert them in layout they appear very small. What am i doing wrong, please can someone go through this process with me, i am using autocad 2008, you can contact me through my email if it helps , solihull9@hotmail.com

Can you post a dwg of what you have done so far? It will speed up the process.

When you go to a layout make sure you set the page size to fit the 11x8.5. Use PAGESETUP command and click on modify to set up the page/layout.

Start by drawing a rectangle 10x7.5 the 1/2" is the non plottable part of a sheet of paper draw everything inside this rectang regarding Title details and all should work. Create a Mview within the available area then do Z E should see you model now on a 11x8.5
