Hi,

I created a block from a block using save as in block editor, however, when I try to insert the block it is telling me it is ''undefined block #-1'' , what is the best way to fix this?

I can't reproduce the problem. Can you step me through it?

I think you have a corrupted drawing file. Did you run an Audit?

Hi,

I created a very simple reference block (letter inside a circle) from an existing reference block using save as in block editor, however, when I try to insert the block it just disappears and the commend line is reading ** Undefined block #-1. The odd thing is the block I used to create it, inserts fine.

Sorry, can't do it. When I use Save As in the Block Editor I'm prompted for the name of the file and it is then saved as a drawing. I can then insert the drawing just fine (as a block). You have a corrupted drawing. Do an Audit.

The file is indeed corrupt. The perpetrator is an x-ref that has been recently overlaid, the x-ref is a dwg file that was exported from solid edge.

Thanks for the response.

I'm glad to see you heeded my advice.

You're entirely welcomed. :)
