My boss has finally decided to give in and buy a half-size plotter for my little home office. The largest size I would need to plot would be 48x36 half size (so 18x24).

I would need color, though most of the time I would be printing black and white.

I am running Windows 7, 64 bit. I've previously used HP products, and like them.

Does anyone have any decent recommendations? There are so many options, I not really sure what the differences are.

You can get wide format 17" x 22" (ANSI C) or wide format 24" which will do the 18" x 24" (ARCH C), which usually runs the same price anyway.

I'm partial to HP myself, more common and easier to find a repair shop, my second choice would be Canon or OCE.
