Hi guys,

I am new to autocad.

When I draw somenthing and try to dimension it.I can not see my text (the dimension) they are too small,,,how can I adjust the dimension style etc...

type STYLE at the command line...

click NEW and give it a name

Select your desired font

under height just put 0

 

then type DIMSTYLE (make sure you know the dimstyle name that you wish to change)

Click Modify

Under TEXT tab, select text style (the new style that you just made)

then input the TEXT HEIGHT (commonly 1.8 to 2.5)

adjust "OFFSET from DIMLINE" based on height of text (can be 1/2 or 1/4 the height of the text)

Under FIT TAB, type input your desired "OVERALL SCALE"

Or if you are very new just look at the property box and change it over there
