Hi There,

 

I have a dynamic steel section block with a btable to choose which size member you want.

What I want to know is there any way I can add a field to the block that shows the selected size so that I don't need to add a separate call up. The field would be linked to the block so if I was to change the size of the member, the field would update and no risk of someone not updating the call up by mistake.

You should visit Lee Mac's site, he has lots of great lisps there, look around,

You could also do this using the DATAEXTRACTION functionality,

to create a block driven display element on your drawing.
