Hi,

When I insert a Frame in an Assembly, they are allways grounded and i can't move the part or use constrain :(

Any solution ? I use Inventor 2013.

Thank you :)

Your question doesn't really have enough information, but

1. any part or assembly can be ungrounded

2. a sub-assembly should be set to Flexible if it is to have motion within an assembly.

It doesn't make sense to unground a frame.

You place the skeleton file in the assembly.

You create the frame.

If you need to move a member - you edit the skeleton file.

If this frame moves relative to other parts you place this frame into another assembly as a subassembly.

I am completely confused about why you would unground a frame.

As you said it's beter to edit the skeleton, that's what I do most of time, i'll keep working with this method.

Thank you JD Mather :)
