tomtomtom
Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone out there was knowledgeable about entering survey data and carrying out adjustments to vertical levels in Autocad Civil 3D? The problem I am having is this, I have carried out a Level survey using the Height Of Collimation method (HOC), the equipment I used was a simple optical level. My data is as follows:- Point Number BS INTER FS HOC RD COMMENTS 0 28 38 10 TBM (Control Point) 1 20 18 2 35 3 3 61 7 92 31 CP 4 40 52 5 30 62 6 15 65 42 27 CP 7 46 -4 8 37 5 9 48 -6 CP 6 39 15 66 27 FLY BACK 3 27 42 51 24 FLY BACK 0 50 1 FLY BACK I then summarized this data into XYZ co-ordinates, as follows:- Point Number Northing (Y) Easting (E) Elevation(Z) COMMENTS 0 0 50 10 TBM (Control Point) 1 0 200 18 2 0 300 3 3 0 400 31 CP 4 0 500 52 5 0 600 62 6 0 700 27 CP 7 0 800 -4 8 0 900 5 9 0 1000 -6 CP 6 0 700 27 FLY BACK 3 0 400 24 FLY BACK 0 0 50 1 FLY BACK The only control point in my survey is point 0 which has an elevation of 10. I do not know how to import this data into civils 3D and carryout an adjustment to the levels to so my survey closes. I have been trying for the past 2 days with no luck, can anyone please help. If some can enter this data into autocad civils 3d email me the file but more importantly explain how its done then that would be great. The autocad civils 3d tutorials do not help me as I cannot get autocad to realize which points are Backsights (BS), Foresights(FS) etc. Its driving me insane. I have attached my data in PDF format so that the data can be read clearly. Thanks. Survey Data For Autocad Civil 3D.pdf
