They are in the styles used for those objects created in your template file(s) used to start projects. Look in this folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011\Sample\Symbols and in the dwg files there. (That's from 2011, 2012 should be the same) Also all those layers you deleted may of have them already in the dwg and available. Edited November 30, 2012 by Murph_map added line Quote
