mcjohn Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Hi, I'm using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012. I have multiple XML files that I can import one by one as surfaces: File - Import - Import LandXML. How can I combine these surfaces? I've never worked with XML files. Thanks, John. Quote
mcjohn Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 Also, these are adjacent surfaces created as tiles from lidar data. Quote
mcjohn Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 Is this standard practice? 1. File – Import – Import LandXML each XML tile to automatically create multiple surfaces in one file 2. Select one surface – Definition – Edits – r-click – Paste Surface – select all other surfaces 3. These surfaces are all linked so can’t delete the duplicates so File – Export – Export to LandXML - select combined surface 4. File – Import – Import LandXML combined surface Quote
