I'm using AutoCAD 2013 and it will not convert a p-line to revcloud, any suggestion on how to get this to work.

What is displayed on the command line when you attempt this?

Posted

It prompts to start cloud /arc length but does not give the option to pick the object.

After you started the revcloud command did you type 'O' to tell it to select an object?

Posted

No it's not a new install.

It does not let me pick and object. It goes straight to arc length/pick starting point.

Did the command ever function correctly?

Command: REVCLoud

Minimum arc length: 0.1250 Maximum arc length: 0.1250 Style: Normal

Specify start point or [Arc length/Object/Style] : This is the default in my version of AutoCAD 2013. Your version operates differently?

Maybe he's not looking at the command line to see that. ACADE has an issue with the command line defaulting as a floating toolbar instead of being docked traditionally...

Are there any other commands that don't work as expected?

Seems odd if this were the only one.

You could try a REPAIR of the installation.

Posted

Yeah, you're gonna want to do a repair or a flat out reinstall...

Can you post some screenshots or a Copy/Paste of your commandline history (F2) when you attempt these commands?

Sounds like you may have an older custom LISP routine for RevCloud that is starting instead of the one included in AutoCAD RevCloud.

We came to that same conclusion. We have some custom lisp routine from the past. We are now looking in to it. Thanks
