Display Length Information on Selected Object

How do I get back this information on a selected object? (I tried to speed up a laggy ACAD of a friend and switched off too many things, obviously...)

 

Used Version: AutoCAD 2011

Welcome to the forum.

 

Turn your DYNAMIC INPUT back on.

It is likely the 4th icon from the right on your status bar, the long group of icons bottom left on your screen..

Or you can use F12 to toggle it on and off.

 

One very likely candidate for laggy, would be the use of the GRID and SNAPS (not to be confused with OSNAPS, which are essential).

Thanks Dadgad, we solved it ourselves already because there where other things from dynamic input missing as well, logically.

 

Can you delete that thread? Because it seems a bit of an idiotic question looking at it being solved.
