Sheet Metal open loops prevents to make faces

Hello, i have a problem with creating faces on a complex sheet metal structure, sketch doctor says: Open loop found in this profile. Use Close Loop or use Edit Sketch and project geometry, add sketch geometry, and/or drag the loop endpoints to close the loop.

Can anyone help me with this ?

Inventor is not AutoCAD.

You have unconstrained sketches.

Unless you changed color properties you have sick (pink) geometry.

Attach your ipt file here.

It also looks like you're going through WAY too much effort with all the work planes. Like JD always says - be lazy when you do this stuff.

it should become a hood for my baler like this:

I don't have time to fix it right now - but that is pretty much a disaster right from the start (Sketch1 unconstrained).

I think we can work out a very simple solution (check back).

In the meantime you might want to read this (use symmetry about the origin)

I suspect my solution will have one (1) user created workplane. The rest will be on origin planes.

See attached file - done in student version, so examine and then delete.
