stenews Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Hi guys, I need to buy a plotter but I really don't know which one is the most suitable for me. I mean, is better an inkjet plotter or a laser one? I know for sure that I'm going to have an intensive use of it and it's really important for me to be able to print very width drawn in a 1:1 scale I appreciate any help, thanks Stefano Quote
f700es Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Just looked at an OCE plot wave 350. $17K for grayscale plots and color scanner. Plots 6 "D" size pages in 1 minute. Quote
caseyanne Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 They got me this Toshiba 750 Jet thinger at work. Lovely, but it's tough for single sheets. beeper error drives me nuts. Quote

stevsmith Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 A few years old now. Reasonably priced. Reliable. Not the quickest. stenews Posted December 26, 2012 Author Posted December 26, 2012 @stevsmith thanks, mate but let me ask you something different... Do you know someone that can cut for me, with a CNC machine, along the outline of a shape in a .dxf file? I mean, have a look the attached file, what I need to do is to cut exactly the shapes in it, the material of which are cut is not so important, a 2 or 3mm thick wood it'll be good enough for me. Of course I'll pay for that...but first of I should know who is he and where is located. I'm leaving in the meddle of Italy and I can pay a TNT delivery in euro coins Thanks for any help!
