Rounded objects are not smooth when 3D rendering

hi,

First of all, this is my first post and i would like to say hello to everybody.

 

My issue is that all my rounded objects aren´t rendering smooth. And what is up with all these lines?

 

Am i missing something when i render rounded objects?

I already tried the this tip but nothing changed.

 

Can anyone help me to solve this issue?

Looks a little different then the problem I was having but under options>display there are settings for display resolution. I bump it way up to 10000, 500, 10, 500 sometimes even more, probably overkill, then make sure to 'regenall', and it should look alot better. If that doesn't get rid of the lines as well try going to the view tab, then under visual styles change it to no edges. There are some real experts around that can help more, but hopefully that will get you going.

Try setting DISPSILH to 1, to get rid of the lines.

Were those objects created in Autocad or imported from another program?

When you say your objects aren't "rendering smooth" are you referring to the fact that the circles appear to be made up of short line segments (i.e. - not round)?
