randyldgius
ok. this worked until i tried to select range. i selected "sheet 1, print area". when click ok it just kind of sits there. the word "table" is on the command line. it sits indefinately. i would expect it to then ask me for an insertion point. but nothing happens. any ideas? ReMark
I'm confused as to where you are getting a "sheet 1, print area" message if you are specifying a range of cells to be brought into your drawing from Excel.
randyldgius
"New Excel Data Link" "Link Options" "Link to Named Range" when i click on Link to Named Range, it gives me a choice labled "Sheet1!Print_Area". i selected this. do you think this "named Range is the probelm? ReMark
When I specify a range of cells I type it in. I'm hoping that is how you finally got it to work. Good job! You're entirely welcomed. Thanks for the update.
