woodman78 Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 I have a leader with a block for signs that we use on our road schemes. I cannot access the attribute information on the block without exploding the leader with the block. The problem is that although I can then access the attribute information the leader is then broken and is only a line and a hatch arrow. Am I missing something here? Is there another way to do this? SLW210 Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Not sure I follow the problem. I opened your drawing, double-clicked the sign and edited the attribute. Double-clicking the leader will open properties. Quote
neophoible Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 I opened your drawing, double-clicked the sign and edited the attribute. Double-clicking the leader will open properties. Yeah, it worked fine for me, too. I double-clicked on the sign and it opened up for editing. There are certain places on the sign where I cannot select anything; in those areas the dbl-click does not work. The edges, symbol & attribute worked quite well for dbl-clicking. Is your dbl-click editing working otherwise? Quote
CyberAngel Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 If you have a user block as the Content of your multileader, you can always edit the block separately. Use Bedit and select the block. The same thing works for provided blocks. The block for the standard Circle Content, for instance, is named _TagCircle. Quote
woodman78 Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 Thanks guys. It appears my double click editing isn't working. It is turned on in Options-User Preferences but when I double click nothing happens. I haven't noticed before because it's a feature I don't use very often. Any ideas why it may not be working? Quote
woodman78 Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 Thanks SLW210. That sorted it alright. That's a lot easier than exploding the block and leader. Thanks again and to the other suggestions. Quote
