samifox Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 hi often the hatches in the drawing is so dense i cant navigate. is there a way the disable hatches display? Thanks Shay Quote
ReMark Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Why don't you just freeze the layer the hatch patterns are on? Try this instead. You can disable the interactive hatch previews - e.g. for large drawings or on a slower computer - with the HPQUICKPREVIEW variable. Set it to Off. Quote
MSasu Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 You may hide the hatches by setting the FILLMODE system variable to 0. It will require a REGEN call to have effect on existing entities. Just don't forget to reset it when is time to print or deliver the drawing. Quote
samifox Posted February 5, 2013 Author Posted February 5, 2013 my autocad (not lt) doesnt know what is HPQUICKPREVIEW..have any idea? FILLMODE do what i want Thank you S Quote
MSasu Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 In the link suggested by ReMark is noted that the said variable is available in AutoCAD starting with version 2011. Quote
hugha Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Once upon a time you could just issue the command FILL OFF at the prompt. Did the job. Quote
