I've been considering a GTX 680 w/ 2gb ram, but after seeing this thread it makes me worry if it will make any difference in performance. Do GTX cards perform at all when working in CAD? I do mostly 3d modeling in AutoCAD 2013.

All I can say is my change in performance was %300 better after I upgraded cards
