Adding Viewports in 2013LT

When I try to add a viewport in layout (paper space) I can't as the Model Viewports tab is greyed out. Can someone tell me why and what I need to do to activate it?

No there is not.

It works fine for me. Are you sure you aren't inadvertently scaling your larger viewport that encompassed your whole sheet when you are adding a new one?

This is what my screen looks like. Model Viewports is greyed out. I can't seem to add a viewport anywhere (I did notice that a viewport does exist on the layout).

Thanks guys - just figured out that I wasn't on the new Layout tab!
