Thanks, recently switched from 2007 to 2010. All of my dwgs in 2010 were created in 2007. When trying to create a pdf of any drawing from any layout...adobe has difficulty reading layer/plot style info...it prints everything gray. I've tried pretty much everything and now think it has to do with importing something (maybe plot style?) from my earlier version? I don't know...I very low tech and need some help with getting my plot style to be read properly by adobe. thanks

In plot top left there is an option to Import a plot style from another dwg it sounds more like though your pen settings CTB is the wrong one its on the right pick down arrow and select the correct one.

Other way there are some lisps to import plot styles into a dwg.

As also said in your other thread, the CTB styles are in fact files stored into UserProfile\Plot Styles folder; to locate that folder just call STYLEMANAGER command.

Importing them from a version to another should be just a matter of copying them - up to my knowledge their file format wasn't changed in time. So, locate the aforementioned folder in AutoCAD 2010 and also in 2007; if you un-installed the 2007 one, then see that is possible that the profile folders weren't removed, so there is a chance to find your custom CTB's. If the folder is gone, then should resort to your setup backup. The worst scenario is that will need to create them from scratch again. Don't miss to backup them this time.
