macchi
Has anyone experience with VM Player and AutoCAD (MAP 3D) 2013 ? For normal AutoCAD users it seams to be ok. But working with big drawings with xrefs and third party application (loaded or not) it's all sticky and slow (commands, typing, cursor). Same commands takes 3 minutes in the VM while on normal workstation it takes 5 seconds. Both Win7, 64b, 8GB, NviDia 2000. Marco
Guest AARi
if you cannot use VMware Workstation or Server [i had got some problems with VM Player and RAM], you can try VBox. https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
Murph_map
I had trouble running an older version of Map3D in it a few years back and gave up on it. I did know that when installing it you could set the amount of ram to us from the host machine and the default was way to low for MAP3D back then.
