Data References and styles...?

Ill clear it up a little bit here.

The only thing we xref into any of our drawings is the base drawing. It has everything in it minus all civil 3d objects and text/labels.

In our Sheet File we X-ref in the Base Drawing.

We then Data Reference in the Alignment and Profiles (This includes the Surface Profile - Reduces the need to reference in the Surface). These objects are created in a seperate Design Drawing.

In the Sheet File we create the Profile View with the Data Referenced Alignment and Profiles.

Label Plan and Profile as needed.

We like this way because if we need to adjust text or labels, we can do it directly in the Sheet File, instead of having to go through Xref's. The work flow is much smoother and more dynamic.
