sonnyamorales Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Let me see if I can ask this without confusing anyone. I have an existing surface as well as a center line alignment. My engineer wants to see what the existing grade looks like at 5,10,15,and 20 foot offsets (left and right) of the ceterline. In order to see what makes the most sense as far as centerline placement. I have a profiles drawing that has the surface and alignment data referenced in it. Is there a way to make separate profiles for each "alignment"? I used the "sample offsets" inside "create profile" and it puts them all on the same grid/view, is that the only way to do it? can you not seperate them? make sense? Quote
Bill_Myron Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Create all the Sample Offset Profiles like you did. You can then create multiple Profile Views and just turn off the Profiles you dont want. Or you could create Offset Alignments and produce Surface Profiles form those. Quote
sonnyamorales Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 thanks, that helped I thought about the offset alignments, but since it was just for him to see the difference visually, the sample offsets worked better Quote
