Since it's a snow day here I have some time to work on some office stuff. I've created my new template now I want to update my blocks. Because I have to place blocks that show a direction for operation I have created 4 blocks of the same symbol-up, down, left, right. I do this because these blocks have text with them that needs to be orientated to the layout (otherwise I get a nasty letter back from the fire marshal). Now for the text that is constant I just use a annotative text style and have the text match the layout but the text that is an attribute I'm not sure if that can be annotative and match the layout as well. Has anybody done this with their blocks?

Ok none of the text associated with the block will orientate to the layout is what I'm trying to do possible?

I'm not sure I understand you 100% but try to XPLODE the block before you rotate?

I want the text that is part of the block to align itself to the x-axis of the layout for left to right reading no matter what angle I place the block in the drawing without having to expode the block to edit the text

Is the text in your bloack an attribute or M-Text?

Never made a dymanic block before going to try and upload an example I found of what I'm trying to do.

Your first doc I have the same problem as you, but if I make a new doc and try to replicate I don't have the problem.

That was what I was going to suggest. Your attribute text style being annotative.
