ReMark Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Did your keyboard come without an "F7" function key? Grid On/Off. Using Grid? Might as well use Snap too. F9 key. Quote

ReMark Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Oh, you mean like a 4 and 40 grid? One would think a civil cad program would have the capability. Quote
Murph_map Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 There's two option that I know of. There's a makegrid.lsp in the sample folder under the program files/Civil3D folder, then you can use the "_MapLayoutReferenceSystem" command if you have a layout active and have a coordinate systm assigned to your dwg. BIGAL Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Civ3d Points create points - surface on grid ???? Quote
Bill_Myron Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 I think you are looking for a Profile View. Lots of options in the styles to play with. Quote
Tyke Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 If you are just looking for drawing the grid line intersection points as small crosses, the rectangular array function does this very easily. Draw your bottom left grid point on the desired location and size, invoke the rectangular array command, select the grid point, specify the number of rows and columns and the spacings and go. Quote
