gmbooth Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Several years ago I received some basic one-on-one instruction in AutoCAD. Since then I have basically self taught myself with some assistance from co-workers. Overall, I am pretty good but we do exclusively 2D petroleum site plans, piping, electrical, construction, etc. I had a few months of drawing HVAC but that was for a particular project. I would like to obtain some certification in AutoCAD since I do not have officially have a piece of paper to fall back on. Since I am working I can't do classes through the week but can do evening/weekend classes and also online. My employer is also willing to pay for the certification. There seems to be a lot of options and I do not know what the industry looks for but would like my certification to be credible. I am in Calgary, Alberta so have SAIT and Bow Valley College but also so many online options. Would anybody have some suggestions that they would recommend? Thank you? Grahame Quote
Murph_map Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 The reseller in your area should have some info on it but if you're still using 2004 version expect a lot more to learn. This may be of intrest to you. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/event/search?siteID=123112&id=11379894 Quote
