That's just the default if I'm not mistaken. Take a look at QNEW.

I have loaded some corrupt lisp routines in my startup suitein my proto-type drawing. I cannot load acad from anywhere. It keeps dumping.

And you cannot unload those lisp routines in any way?

nope...it dumps if I try and do any command....

Can I modify or edit the startup routine to change the drawing1 file that is corrupt without launching ACAD?

Why not just replace Drawing1.dwg with another?

Rename those bad lsp files, AutoCAD should start up then you can use the startup suite to remove the original lsp back to the default. I don't know of any lsp that would keep AutoCAD from strting are you sure they are not arx or vba files?

Thanks Murph

I copied and then deleted my lisp directories. ACAD launched and I removed the startup lisp files. All good.
