Siberian Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 I created a new UCS for one of my drawings. I would like to use this spesific UCS also for other drawings I have, since they all relate. How can I do this without having to set it up manually for each one? Quote

FazBear Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 How about copying the contents of the drawing and pasting them into the drawing with the set UCS? simply save as and voila! Quote
sardeson Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Write a VBA or lisp routine to autocreate the desired UCS or UCSs upon open of a new document or when using a certain template. Quote
rvpas Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Hi Regrettably to my knowledge not! On the other hand a tip which I use: Makes curent your ucs Create one line on the axis X with orthomode F8 Copy and paste in the new drawing this line Use UCS command with option object And select your line Your UCS turns automatically with the object Bye Pascal Quote
BIGAL Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 You could set up multiple ucs's in say a DWT remember when you do a UCS to also do S for save and give it a name, say for 3d, xface, yface, zface. To use just UCS R xface etc we do civil roads so normally its ucs r ROAD Quote
