Thank you

You are correct -- they did not work for me either

Well lets do it the hard way. type the following URL's in the search window I have used Internet Explorer & firefox.

For some reason it will not work by using a link here in the forum. As you already know you will have to add the www. in front of the below list.

bibiliocad.com/library/cancer-prevention-center_42509

[/url]

007cad.com/.../architectural/hospital-cad-drawings.html

cad-architect.net/beta_sub/beta_drawings_2-hospital.html

this worked for me Hope this helps and let me know if it does not work

Be back in a minute or two this did not work form the forum

What is this for?

How does one distinguish between a general hospital and one specializing in cancer treatment just by looking at a building cross section?

was just going to ask that. I would imagine they vary from hospital to hospital depending on the floor plan. Guess you could search for "oncology design standards"

From our family involvement her in New Zealand, the oncology at our local hospital was consultation only, so standard exam room/office. Tests were done in X-Ray/CT/MRI which is in different area. Treatment like radiation was done at a different hospital, Chemo is bit like a blood doner room. Armchairs and drips.

I was only trying to find sightsd where he could get ideas from I did not take the word particularly as meaning only.

and the Bibiliocad site did say cancer-prevention-center.

If I did wrong please tell me so, so that I will not do it again.

Ok thank you

I probablely have more free time then most on here -- therefor if I can do a search for anyone I will be glad to try.

Search all you want but you are not going to find a "one size fits all" solution. Anyway, I have yet to hear what the major differences would be between a "general purpose hospital" and one that caters solely to cancer patients. I think either comp-engineer does not know or has already lost interest.

Most hospitals have wings that have been designed for dealing with particular kinds of illnesses or patients and have certain requirements for those fields. A quick search for cancer centers in your area reveals quite a few. For example, one of the goals of these places is to make the patients as comfortable as possible so a lot of attention is put on aesthetics. It would take a trained eye to see the differences, though.
