Hey Guys, I'm stuck with the attached drawing, was trying to get the right (side) view of the part constructed with lines and snaps/offsets are fighting me. I'm sure it's something relatively easy that I'm missing, but if you can see what it is let me know! Greatly appreciated. I also attached a picture of the drawing problem for reference too.

Did you try changing the view of your model space viewport from "top" to "bottom"?

You should be working in a 3D modelling workspace so on the Ribbon look on the Home tab, View Panel and make a selection from the 3D Navigation dropdown menu. Your choices start with Top, then go on to Bottom, Left, Right, Front, Back and the four standard isometric views.

Thank you for your looking at the drawing and your reply Mark.

Switch for the left viewport? I went ahead and switched the left viewport from top to bottom, but still am not able to get object snaps and construction line offset functions to work. I'm unclear how that would make a difference.

I looked under the home tab, and view panel, and see the view settings, and changed them around a bit, but still no luck. I'm sorry Mark, I don't know what my problem with all of this is right now. I hope I'm not passing my frustration onto you. I really appreciate all of your help though.

Activate the viewport that you wish to switch the view in. Then do as I previously suggested. The other option would be to use the ViewCube.

What view do you wish to see in each of the two model space viewports? Left = ? Right = ?

Thanks again for the super fast response. Have to run to work now, I'll try again a little later. I'll let you know if I can figure it out. Thanks Mark!
