dirtlegg Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 In civil 3d 2012, I have a dxf of all the parcels as polylines in my county. I need to get the parcel numbers to show up preferably centered on each parcel. After browsing through labeling options for the last couple hours I can't seem to find an answer. Any suggestions???? I also have the shapefile. Quote
Emigrato Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 You have several ways to label a map in Autocad: to choose the best one, I would like to take a look at it, so please share with us the shapefile, sir. Quote

After you're happy export the map to AutoCAD format to convert the annoblocks to text. Quote
BIGAL Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I would go backwards a step go back to who you got the dxf form and see if you can get parcel lables as part of the dxf, here at work we have control over what is exported out of our GIs to autocad so parcel lables are normally ticked. Quote
