What is this and how the heck do I get rid of it

Okay, i was working and this randomly popped up. Its messing me up in terms of me moving objects around. How the heck do I turn this off (Circled)? I apologize in advance if my post sounds a bit angry (Cause I am!)

 

Also I don't even know what it is!

It's the "Gizmo". Turn it off via your Ribbon. Home > Selection > No Gizmo.
