gosma Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Hey, Basicaly I have a plan of a part of a city and I want to fill the houses with a solid hatch, I was wondering if I could do them all at once instead of picking an internal point one by one (there are a lot of them!). Thanks in advance. Quote
CyberAngel Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Yes, you can hatch multiple areas at once. If you draw each house as a closed polyline, you can start the Hatch command, select one house, use Select Similar, and hatch them all together. Welcome to the forum! Quote

I thought it would be something like that, but after I start the hatch command and selecting either "pick point" or "select objects" I don't have the option to "select similar" in the context menu. What am I doing wrong? Quote
RobDraw Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Make your selection set before starting the hatch command. If you lose the set after starting "HATCH", type "P" for previous selection. Quote

I ended up just turning all the other layers of and then making my selection. But thanks I will do that in the future. Quote
